The Sherman Minton Bridge Renewal Team would like to advise motorists of traffic pattern changes associated with the upcoming directional closures and nightly lane closures.
Because of the shifting location of work during the directional closures, traffic from I-264 Westbound to I-64 Westbound may be prohibited at times. Signs will advise motorists of restrictions and alternate routes.
A directional closure of I-64 Eastbound will occur between Friday evening May 19, until Monday morning May 22. A directional closure of I-64 Westbound will occur beginning Tuesday, May 23 until Friday morning May 26, and again from Tuesday, May 30 until Monday evening June 5.
Please stay alert when traveling through the corridor and follow appropriate signs and messaging. Delays are expected and motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes where possible.
