Update: Weekend Lane Restrictions Canceled on Westbound Lanes of Sherman Minton Bridge

The double-lane restrictions scheduled this weekend on westbound I-64 lanes on the Sherman Minton bridge have been canceled. Crews from the Sherman Minton Renewal project team completed necessary construction activities earlier this week.

Single-lane restrictions will still be in place at times during the day and double-lane restrictions may be in place during overnight hours until the morning of Tuesday, October 29.

About The Sherman Minton Renewal Project

The Sherman Minton Renewal is a major bridge rehabilitation and painting project that will significantly extend the life of the 61-year-old bridge. The double-decked bridge carries six lanes of traffic (I-64 and US 150) over the Ohio River connecting Louisville, KY and New Albany, IN.
