Crews from the Sherman Minton Renewal project team plan to restrict two lanes of I-64 eastbound (bottom deck) on the Sherman Minton bridge to complete construction work later this month. Eastbound I-64 will be reduced to one lane on or after the following dates and times, weather permitting:
- Friday, November 22, at 9 p.m. until Saturday, November 23, at 1 p.m.
- Saturday, November 23, at 9 p.m. until Sunday, November 24, at 1 p.m.
During these restrictions, access to all ramps will be maintained. A single eastbound lane will remain open. Westbound I-64 will remain open to three lanes.
Delays are expected while work is in progress and motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes where possible. Changes to this schedule will be communicated as necessary.
