Weekend lane restrictions scheduled on westbound lanes of Sherman Minton bridge

Crews from the Sherman Minton Renewal project team will restrict two lanes of I-64 westbound (top deck) on the Sherman Minton bridge to complete miscellaneous work later this month. Westbound I-64 will be reduced to one lane on or after the following dates and times, weather permitting:

  • Friday, November 15, at 9 p.m. until Saturday, November 16, at 1 p.m.
  • Saturday, November 16, at 9 p.m. until Sunday, November 17, at 1 p.m.

During these restrictions, the I-264 westbound ramp to I-64 westbound will be closed.  A single westbound lane will remain open and access to New Albany ramps will be maintained. Eastbound I-64 will remain open to three lanes.

Delays are expected while work is in progress and motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes where possible.
