Weekend lane restrictions scheduled on westbound lanes of Sherman Minton Bridge

Crews from the Sherman Minton Renewal project team will restrict the right two lanes of I-64 westbound (top deck) on the Sherman Minton bridge to complete painting work later this month. Westbound I-64 will be reduced to one lane on or after the following dates and times, weather permitting:

  • Friday, October 25, at 9 p.m. until Saturday, October 26, at 1 p.m.
  • Saturday, October 26, at 9 p.m. until Sunday, October 27, at 1 p.m.

The left most westbound lane will remain open and access to ramps will be maintained. Eastbound I-64 will remain open.

Delays are expected while work is in progress and motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes where possible.
