Westbound I-64 Lane Restriction

Crews from the Sherman Minton Renewal project team will pour concrete and perform finish operations on the top deck of the Interstate 64 bridge on multiple evenings this week, weather permitting.

The I-64 westbound top deck (right lane) will be restricted beginning on or after the following dates and times:

  • 8 p.m. Thursday, April 11, until 12 p.m. (noon), Friday, April 12.
  • 6 p.m. Friday, April 12, until 1 p.m., Saturday, April 13.
  • 7 p.m. Sunday, April 14, until 7 a.m. Monday, April 15.

The lane restriction will prevent access to the New Albany exit ramp (Exit 123) during the noted times.  Traffic will still be able to continue on westbound I-64 by using the left lane as they approach the I-264 interchange.

Delays are expected and motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes where possible.

About The Sherman Minton Renewal Project
