The Sherman Minton Renewal team, in collaboration with the INDOT Seymour District will be repairing guardrail along I-265 during the evening of October 13, weather permitting. Multiple lane closures will be implemented as follows:
- Left lane closure I-265 Eastbound beginning on or after 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. west of the I-65 interchange near mile marker 5.4.
- Left lane closure I-265 Westbound beginning on or after 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. west of the I-65 interchange near mile marker 6.7.
- Ramp from I-265 Westbound to I-64 Eastbound beginning on or after 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
The times noted above are permissible times for the closures. These closures may or may not be in effect for the entire period noted. Motorists should slow down, drive distraction free and be aware of the changing traffic patterns.
Delays are expected and motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes where possible.
