I-64 EB to I-265 Ramp to Close for Shoulder Repair

The Sherman Minton Renewal team will be performing shoulder repairs on the ramp from I-64 eastbound to I-265 eastbound during the evening of October 19, weather permitting.

The ramp will be closed beginning on or after 10 p.m., Thursday, October 19 until 6 a.m., Friday, October 20.  The times noted above are permissible times for the closures and may or may not be in effect for the entire period. Motorists should slow down, drive distraction free and be aware of the changing traffic patterns.

While the ramp closure is in place, the suggested alternate route to access I-265 will be to exit onto West 5th Street in New Albany and use the local street system to access I-64 westbound, then continue to I-265.  Variable message boards will be posted in the project area notifying motorists of the closure and alternate route.
